Mama Focus

We spend so much of our time during pregnancy focusing on growing a healthy baby and then after delivery, we spend so much of our time and energy focused on our newborn. It is easy to forget that we need to be care for also!

This group was created to do just that - focus solely on you!

This group is useful at any stage of motherhood because, honestly, we could often use a reminder to think about ourselves!

Topics we will explore will include:

  • How are you managing your health?

  • Who's on your team, who's in your community?

  • How is your rest and sleep hygiene?

  • How are you adding things that are meaningful back into your day? How are exploring new hobbies, If old things are no longer attainable or serving you at the moment?

  • The sense of losing some (or most) of your autonomy during motherhood and how to gain some of that back.

  • Discover the things that light you up just for yourself, not in relation to your family, for family management or connected to being a mom.

There is truth behind the idea of not being able to pour from an open cup. But almost more importantly, when we put time and attention into ourselves and our living a whole, fulfilling life - the benefits trickle down through the rest of our family.

Movers & Shakers

Do you have a baby between three and six months old?

If so, this is the group for you! This group is designed to offer you information, support and a community of mamas in a similar space!

There are so many societal norms and expectations that after the *very* short postpartum window, mothers have settled back into their previously held daily life, just with a baby in tow now.

The purpose of this group is to shine a light on some of the realities of this phase and to offer strategies and support you through it.

Mama focused topics we will discuss include:

  • the concept of “free time”; inconsistent and fleeting, how do we use it in a way to feel empowered instead of discouraged or frustrated?

  • Re-engaging in activities that are meaningful to you and how to modify if needed.

  • Dealing with the realities of sleep routines and subsequent changes and shifts.

  • Introducing new caregivers and/or shifting of more parenting duties to your partner.

  • Recognizing the importance of your mental health and strategies to maintain it in your day-to-day life.

  • How is your physical health? What is causing you pain and how can we help with that?

Baby focused topics we will discuss include:

  • How babies learn to move and how to support them.

  • How babies play and how to engage with them from infancy.

  • How babies are introduced to solid foods and strategies to support that transition.
